Cineville Europe

Cineville is available throughout Europe. The subscription model, which allows members unlimited access to all participating cinemas, was developed in the Netherlands. Since then, the model has been adapted in other European countries and applies to all participating cinemas in each country. Our dream for the future? To cross the borders of Europe with a single cinema subscription.

Cineville was introduced in the Netherlands in 2009. Cineville is now also available in Belgium (2022), Austria (2023, under the name nonstop), Germany (2024) and Sweden (2025). Over 135,000 European members of Cineville attended around 2.8 million screenings in the nearly 200 affiliated cinemas last year.

Cineville was founded by and for independent cinemas and has a local focus. In each participating country, the cinemas jointly own and manage their Cineville. From Brussels to Berlin, local efforts are supported by Cineville's shared knowledge and resource infrastructure.

In the pilot project ‘Cineville Eurotrip’, Cineville subscribers were able to use their Cineville card for the first time in the summer of 2024 to attend screenings in all participating cinemas across Europe for a month.
