During the late-evening slot on several weekdays, one screen is run by the voluntary association ‘Kommkino e.V.’, which is dedicated to underground cinema, with a focus on trash films, Asian cinema and independent cinema.
The Filmhaus offers active filmmakers workspaces for film and video editing and production, a sound booth for professional recordings, as well as various group rooms used by film-related associations. The Filmhaus Café is located in the foyer of the Künstlerhaus.
