BrotfabrikKINO

This intimate movie theater, located in the former cake-making facility of the Brotfabrik, places great emphasis on an independent film program.

The BrotfabrikKino is one of the Brotfabrik’s founding projects. In operation since May 1990, it has changed locations within the building but has remained true to its programming principles: In addition to the regular film program, the cozy 60-seat theater hosts special events on film history, festivals, lectures, and readings. A particular focus is on collaborations and documentary films that address current social issues.
