zeise kinos

Art-house cinema in the unique setting of a former ship propeller factory.

Surrounded by bars, cafes, and restaurants, the Zeise Hallen are located in the heart of Hamburg’s Ottensen district. Built in 1869 by Theodor Zeise, ship propellers were manufactured here for more than a hundred years. Today, the rustic, brick-red industrial hall atmosphere blends with modern glass-and-steel architecture. The three movie theaters have a total of 523 seats. The largest auditorium is considered one of the most beautiful movie theaters in Germany, featuring a large stage that also hosts concerts.
